Career Assessment Tests

The Department of Human Resource Management Career Center offers career assessments to individuals who are established clients of the career center. Career assessments are used in conjunction with career counseling to determine career values, interests, and experience. These tools promote career exploration and planning in addition to providing information on areas of academic study needed for skill building to enhance career options.

Through a variety of assessment tests, individuals evaluate their strengths, interests, goals and personal style as it relates to an occupational field. These assessments evaluate personality and the impact personality has on:

  • Work Types

  • Career Types

  • Career Drivers

  • Work Environment

  • Work Activity Interests

These assessments assist individuals in determining the most feasible careers and jobs to achieve long-term career goals and objectives leading to a satisfying job experience. Although most of the assessment tools utilized in the Center are at no cost, some of the computer-generated tools may require a fee.

The following assessment tools are available through the career center.
